IOBC Award for young researchers
The International Organisation for Biological Control (IOBC) is offering support of a total of CHF 5,000 for approximately 25 early career researchers to attend the 2nd Internal Congress of Biological Control in Switzerland. Awardees will benefit from a 50% reduced registration fee to support attending the 100% virtual meeting.
How to qualify
To be eligible for an award you must be:
- 35 years old or less at the time of the meeting
- Member of IOBC
- Present on a topic of relevance to biological control
- Talk or poster as first author accepted

How to apply:
To apply for an award, register on-line and submit your abstract. After finishing the registration process please contact Heike Kuhlmann (info@iobc-icbc.org) and provide your contact details, evidence of age and IOBC membership, the abstract of your presentation.
Notification:
The congress organizers will notify by return e-mail by end of March, if the applicant has been chosen to receive the award which in turn means that the successful awardees pay only 50% of the registrationn fee.
