The
International Congress of Biological Control is the flagship event of the
International Organization of Biological Control (IOBC), which promotes environmentally safe methods of pest and disease control. The congress is held every four years and the 2024 congress is being held as an in-person meeting and co-organized by
CAB International (CABI). ICBC3 will provide a platform for multi- and inter-disciplinary biological control research and application. This congress is unique in serving as a meeting point for scientists and practitioners that are working on a wide breadth of biological control targets including insect pests, plant and animal diseases, weeds and invasive vertebrates.
- Strong scientific programme with over 30 concurrent scientific sessions and at least five high-level plenary panel/symposium discussions.
